Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust have set up a brand new Wild Tots group at Thurnby Lodge Children, Young People and Families Centre, in Leicester, giving more children and families the opportunity to spend time outdoors!

Recently we ventured out of our Newark office to visit the Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust and take a look at their Forest School sessions. It is always great to see the difference funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery makes to those receiving it, and during our visit, we spent a lot of time at the Centre of the Earth nature reserve.

Since 2015, funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery has helped Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust support 18 groups of children from 12 urban primary schools.
