    Our exciting nature club for kids from around 5 to 12 years old, with monthly meetings based at Whisby Nature Park.

    Whisby Education Centre runs Wildlife Watch for youngsters aged between 5 and 12.

    Saturday 14 January: Conservation Task
    Willow and Hazel coppicing is always a favourite, and there is plenty to be harvested by the Watch group this January!

    Saturday 11 February: Mammals
    Today we’re going to find out about British Mammals, and how they adapt to their habitats, including those who live around Whisby Nature Park and Education Centre.

    Saturday 11 March: Wildlife Garden
    The Wildlife Garden at Whisby was originally planted by the Watch Group back in 2011 and now it is need of some TLC. Bring your green fingers with you!

    Saturday 8 April: Epic Easter Egg Hunt
    Can you unscramble the mess in all of the Easter Egg-citement? An Egg Hunt around the Education Grounds to test your wildlife skills and knowledge.

    Saturday 13 May: Wild Outing to Tunman Wood
    We’re going to visit the woods in today’s session to see what’s changed in there this spring!
    Time: 10am - 2pm

    Saturday 10 June: Pond Dipping
    Lots of creatures lurk down in the depths. Lets get our wellies on and head out to find what is swimming about in June.

    Saturday 8 - Sunday 9 July: Camp Over!
    Bring a tent, sleeping bag and teddy bear to our fourth annual Camp Over.
    You must have attended at least 3 sessions in 2017 to attend.

    Saturday 12 August: Bug Hunting
    We’re opening our doors up to everyone today and having a massive Bug Hunt to see what Brilliant Bugs we can unearth! Why not bring a friend along?

    Saturday 9 September: Wild-Outing to Willow Tree Fen
    The Willow Tree Fen Warden, in the south of the county, has lots of exciting jobs for us on our visit today.
    Time: 10am - 2pm

    Saturday 14 October: Autumn Colours and Cobwebs Walk
    Following on from last years successful early morning March walk, we thought we’d see dawn in Autumn this year!
    Time: 7.15am - 9.45am

    Saturday 18 November: Conservation Task
    Please note this will be the third Saturday in November. It’s back to the time of year where the willow and hazel trees at Whisby are ready for a trim and the wildlife garden needs a haircut!

    Saturday 9 December: Christmas Party
    Party games with a wildlife theme, Nature inspired food and lots of fun. The annual Christmas Party is back again!
