29 April 2017 - 9:30am - 12:30pm

Join David Lee for a wander over the ffridd and moorland area above the Conwy Valley where short and long-distance migrant birds will be setting up territories with display and song as Spring gets underway.

Hopefully we will see and get to grips with sorting out meadow pipit from skylark, and there should be well-established pairs of stonechat with migrant wheatears. We hope to encounter scarce species in yellowhammer, kestrel and cuckoo in the ffridd area on the slopes, and hear the commoner willow warbler and various tit species as well. Given fine weather it will be a lovely mornings birding.
