1 May 2017 - 9:00am - 12 May 2017 - 5:00pm
Join us as we tour the island with our travelling road show, explaining fun facts about the sesals that splash on our coast, why they're important to us, and ways you can get involved spotting and helping protect them.
Here are a few facts to whet your appetite:
- Did you know that a seal can hold its breath under water for about 25 minutes?
- Seals can sleep at sea holding their noses out of the water to breathe
- They can live to be 45 years old.
Find out how our everyday actions make a difference, for good or bad.
Come and see our display and mini-activities for kids.
