4 May 2017 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

One of a series of ERCCIS biological recording workshops aiming to help increase identification skills. Join us at the National Trust's Loe Pool to observe and gain an understanding of key breeding bird species of woodland, wetland and open water. We will be coached in identification skills of the main groups of birds in these habitats in spring. Beginning with an early start (but not quite the crack of dawn!) we will listen for dawn chorus birdsong and learn how to pick out certain phrases and use them to recognise the singer.
