Join expert birder Graeme Stewart for the second of two Thatcham Festival walks around Greenham common to celebrate the diversity of the birdlife on the common this Autumn.

Who is this event suitable for?This event is suitable for anyone who enjoys exploring the countryside and leaning about birds and wildlife. Please let us know if you have mobility problems.

What to bring?Please bring bird ID book, binoculars, camera and telescopes if you have them.

What to wear?

Please remember to dress for the weather, sturdy footwear and be prepared with waterproofs

Is there an age limit for children?This event is suitable for all ages, however some of the terrain is not suitable for buggies.

What is the terrain/distance like (walks)?

The walk takes place on gravel but sometimes muddy paths on the common.There are some areas of uneven ground. Sturdy footwear is advised.
